UNIRA is committed to making Coda, our computer-assisted coding application, usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology.
We have adopted the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our conformance target.
We assess the application against every WCAG 2.1 Level A and Level AA criterion and maintain the results as a conformance report, available to customers on request. As of the most recent review, Coda conforms on every applicable Level A and Level AA criterion, with one verification step still in progress as noted below.
Accessibility is checked continuously rather than occasionally. Automated accessibility rules run on every code change and block a release when they fail, color contrast is verified for every visual theme we ship, and keyboard-only operation is part of our release checklist.
Screen-reader verification is currently automated: we confirm programmatically that elements carry correct roles, names, and live-region behavior. A manual pass with screen readers is planned, and its findings will be reflected here.
